Life can be challenging - especially for children, teens, young adults, and their families - navigating the ups and downs of home, school, and relationships. I'm here to help you, your child, and/or your family find balance, growth, and strength in the face of these difficulties. Together, we will create a safe, supportive space where trust and understanding pave the way toward progress and healing.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 9 years as a teacher, working with students in Pre-K, elementary, and middle school. This experience gave me invaluable insight into the challenges young people face academically, socially, and emotionally. After earning my Master's degree in School Counseling, I continued my journey by serving as a school counselor in Kanawha and Putnam County schools for 12 years. These roles have shaped my ability to connect with children, teens, and families and provide meaningful guidance and support.
As a therapist, I now focus on helping school-aged children and their families with an approach rooted in empathy, collaboration, and a genuine passion for seeing others thrive. I believe in creating an environment where everyone feels heard and valued, fostering resilience and personal growth every step of the way.
I look forward to walking this path with you and your family!
